Once diagnosed, your clinician needs to decide upon the best course of treatment
for you. This decision is based on a number of specific characteristics of your
tumour such as the size, grade and stage, as well as the presence of certain receptors
to hormones like oestrogen or growth factors like HER2.
Together this information can be used to determine the efficacy of the different
treatments available such as tamoxifen, Herceptin™ and chemotherapy.
